I love this 1929 map by Albert Prentice Button. It is definitely my favorite map of the Maine coast - so many great legends and mythical creatures. The sea serpents are front and center, honoring the rich history of sea serpent sightings in the area. Mermaids also have sailor stories along with a Wabanaki oral tradition dating back into pre-historic times.
